Family Business

Quinn Fiona Garvey really had no choice. Vacation days, snow days and sick days were spent down at GCAi. Luckily, there was both a Dunkin Donuts and book store 24 floors down.

By high school, Quinn was shooting video and photography for GCAi at the global startup accelerator Mass Challenge in Boston and at entrepreneurial events back in the 413. Escaping to NYC for college was really no escape either as Quinn bussed it back regularly to do boarding and app marketing videos for GCAi client Peter Pan Bus Lines. Even moving to the West Coast was not far enough. GCAi opened an office in Maria del Rey several years ago and again tracked her down.

The LA Years

During what amounts to almost a decade in the business, Quinn has amassed quite a portfolio. She was featured in Vera (p 24), the global inflight magazine of Virgin Atlantic, her own work as an LA based content creator on TicTik ( @vintageonq 50,000 plus followers). Her specialty is content creation and production for luxury estate sale companies and auction houses around Los Angeles. One of her videos really spiked in views and caused a 4+ hour line at a Bel Air sale.

Quinn also ideates, shoots and promotes content for brands like Zappos, Kiehl’s, Recess Drinks, Dossier, The Ordinary, Yuka (app that scans food and skincare products), Bloom Nutrition, and Revolve. One of her most recent productions for an LA area coffee brand just crossed 1,000,000 views on one video alone.

She is not above lampooning her brother James Garvey as she did in this hysterical production for the New England Financial Marketing awards ceremony.

Taking GCAi into TikTok

For GCAi, she has helped produce and acted in several television commercials for GCAi client City Tire & Auto Centers, and has helped us make the transition into content creation and dissemination through TikTok. With her guidance, GCAi has completely changed its approach to shooting and editing video for this platform. Proof that she knows her stuff – Quinn’s edit for City Tire crossed 100,000 views shortly after it launched on TikTok.
